Ikuno Mine Headquarters Purchasing Committee

Opposite the main gate of the Ikuno Mine Headquarters, the Purchasing Committee still remains. The first floor of the building was used as a purchasing place to sell daily necessities and food to people working in the mines and their families, and the second floor was a cafeteria.
Originally, it was a company-managed distribution center that sold general food such as grains, miso, soy sauce, sugar, and dried goods, but in 1930, management was transferred to the Ikuno Mine Purchasing Association, an organization made up of employees. Ta. The building appears to have been expanded several times, and the central building has a wave-shaped roof decoration.
